Finished another set of small art deco bags. These are a wonderful classic bag w/ pockets inside and outside. A Crossbody yet it can be adjusted to wear under the arm and just over the shoulder. Designed to carry just the right amount. These are going off to the galleries but I’ll keep a few for myself. I usually make them in cobalt blue, soft gray, medium gray, taupe, brandy, black, and sometimes a color like a shot of true red or golden yellow or teal? Whatever I’m feeling that day.

Thought you might be interested to see the steps for just making the pattern that I have to take to make a large leather duffel bag for a gentleman The images show the original pattern and the mock up for the curved zipper that he requested as an opening into the bag. I’ve made many of these bags but none with the curve opening in the front. I save all of my patterns and take pictures of them too.
